紅茶好きなので図書館から借りてきた②。 中国の緑茶が紅茶になりインドやスリランカで栽培されヨーロッパに運ばれる。 その歴史と共に旅をする。 思っていた以上に面白い本でした。

I read it with both joy and sadness, because I learned that the author had passed away at the end of last year. No new books will be published, but I want to continue reading her books that are currently available.

日本語を勉強中のイタリア人にすすめられて、図書館で借りてきた。 いろんな本がいろんな言葉に翻訳されていろんな国で読まれている。 おもしろい世の中だ。 その人が言った通り「優しいお話」だった。 こんな本読んだら日本に来たくなるのかもしれない。

図書館から借りてきた。 途中で一度読んだことがあるような気がしてきたが、全く忘れているので楽しく読めた。 北海道の冬って大変なんだな…。

I borrowed it from the library because I was drawn to the cute Norman Rockwell-esque cover. It was made into a movie in 2020.

This is not that best-selling 'the Housemaid.' This is a story of a hotel made written by a Canadian author. After reading it, I did a Google search and found out that this book is also popular, has been made into a series, and there are plans for a movie adaptation. It has also been translated into Japanese, so you can read it in Japanese as well.

図書館で借りてきた。 主人公の職業はちょっと？だけど、女の子の独り言を聞いているみたいで軽く読める。 ロンドンの地名とかも沢山出てきて楽しめた。 気晴らしに。

Since it's a children's book, I should just enjoy it simply, I know, but I started to wonder if it's okay to steal?

It's a pretty tough story, but I like it a lot. It is maybe because it is consist of many letters.

A bookclub choice.

図書館でジャケ買いならぬ表紙借りてしてきたら、シリーズ3作目だった！ でも、当たりだった。 かなり好きなタイプの推理小説。 登場人物たちの会話が一見常に噛み合わずとんちんかんでふざけているように見えるのに、事件が着実に解決していく。 ユーモアで時にロマンティック。 1から読みたい。 英語で読んだらどんな感じかなと思う。

図書館で「何か軽いものが読みたい」と思い、表紙につられて借りてきた。 この表紙の手触りが、図書館でラミネート加工されているにも関わらず妙に手触りがいい。 この本を見かけたら触ってみてください。 内容は安定の面白さです。

I borrowed this from the library. It's a much brighter, more hopeful story than I expected.

読んだことがある英語の短編が入った本を図書館で見つけた。 「the Invisible Japanese Gentlemen」 英語と日本語比べ読み企画。 この作家の「情事の終わり」という本がずっと読みたい本リストに入っている。 どの短編もシニカルで不思議な感じ。 下ネタが多いのも特徴。 その魅力がいまいちわからんが、 「20世紀の最も偉大な作家の一人」らしいので、またいろいろ読んでみたいと思う。

すごいグルーヴ感。

路面電車が好き×獅子文六が好き＝好き²!?と思い、図書館から借りてきた。 1966年の上野→浅草を作家と一緒に旅をする。所々イラストもある。東京の地図も見ながら読んだ。楽しかった。 昔の文章はかわいい。見たことない漢字も出てきて勉強になった。
