Dog lovers might be intrigued by the title, but I wouldn't particularly recommend this book to them. Rather, it is a book I would recommend to math enthusiasts.

By viewing Japanese culture and language from the outside, I unearthed the Japanese elements within myself.

図書館で借りてきた。 たぶん、今は普通の本屋では売ってない。 競馬シリーズ35作目！ よくそんな競馬の話ばかり書けるもんだと思うけど全くの競馬の話という訳ではなく、微妙に競馬が絡んでくる話。 そんなこんなで、イギリスではジョークのネタにされたりもしているが、私は結構好きだし、もっと見直されてもいいと思う。 話もキャラクターもメロドラマチックで楽しい。 推理小説に少しロマンスの要素があるそのバランスも私の好きなタイプの話。 こういう推理小説って最近ないかも。

おじいさんの思い出話。 すごい昔の話なので時々？時々笑えた。

"A Gentleman in Moscow"を読むにあたって、知識が無さすぎたため、図書館から借りてきた。 画像が豊富で読みやすかったけど、複雑で頭に入らない。 また、ロシアの話を読んだら、勉強しよう。

日本語を勉強中のイタリア人にすすめられて、図書館で借りてきた。 いろんな本がいろんな言葉に翻訳されていろんな国で読まれている。 おもしろい世の中だ。 その人が言った通り「優しいお話」だった。 こんな本読んだら日本に来たくなるのかもしれない。

I borrowed it from the library because I was drawn to the cute Norman Rockwell-esque cover. It was made into a movie in 2020.

This is not that best-selling 'the Housemaid.' This is a story of a hotel made written by a Canadian author. After reading it, I did a Google search and found out that this book is also popular, has been made into a series, and there are plans for a movie adaptation. It has also been translated into Japanese, so you can read it in Japanese as well.

図書館で借りてきた。 主人公の職業はちょっと？だけど、女の子の独り言を聞いているみたいで軽く読める。 ロンドンの地名とかも沢山出てきて楽しめた。 気晴らしに。

Since it's a children's book, I should just enjoy it simply, I know, but I started to wonder if it's okay to steal?

It's a pretty tough story, but I like it a lot. It is maybe because it is consist of many letters.

A bookclub choice.

図書館でジャケ買いならぬ表紙借りてしてきたら、シリーズ3作目だった！ でも、当たりだった。 かなり好きなタイプの推理小説。 登場人物たちの会話が一見常に噛み合わずとんちんかんでふざけているように見えるのに、事件が着実に解決していく。 ユーモアで時にロマンティック。 1から読みたい。 英語で読んだらどんな感じかなと思う。
