珈琲が呼ぶ片岡義男読み終わった夫の実家の本棚から拝借。 実は、この人の本を初めて読んだ。 食わず嫌いだった。気取り倒してるのかなと思ってたが、どっこい何かすごかった。 記憶や知識の引き出しが。 インターネットではなく、体を動かして、人に会って、電車に乗って、喫茶店へ行って、紙やペンやアナログレコードを使って、得た情報は体積が大きくて分厚い。 それで、私の脳みそはパンク寸前になったけど、楽しかった。 - 1900年1月1日

Japanese title is "サイモンvs人類平等化計画." It has been made into a movie. Movie's title is "Love,サイモン 17才の告白." I heard this book is banned in some states in the US, but I think it isn't harmful at all....

Klara and the SunKazuo IshiguroSomebody gave me the Japanese book of "Klara and the Sun," so I borrow the English version from the library and read them together. I remember when Kazuo Ishiguro won the Novel Prize and this book was published and everybody was reading it. Then I was too contrary to willing to buy and read it. You know, I have such tendency. When everyone say yes, then I feel reluctant to say so. I finally read it. That's a good read.
